NASA MANNED FLIGHT TRAINING

Vintage NASA Certificate of Training. This certificate was issued in 1968 to Garwood W. Bacon for having completed the Aerospace Summer Intern Program of the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, Texas. The certificate is hand signed by Stanley H. Goldstein and Jack R. Lister. It measures about 8" by 10 1/4".


APOLLO 8

Apollo 8 Manned Flight Awareness medal and named Kennedy Space Center Certificate of participation. This was presented to Ernest D. Guggenheim who was a professional engineer. He retired in 1977 at age 75 and was the oldest employee to retire from NASA.

APOLLO 11

This is an official named Apollo 11 Kennedy Space Center Manned Flight Awareness Award and medal. The medals include the very rare gold VIP edition of the Apollo 11 medal in its original casing.
This is an example of a Public Service Achievement Award presented to an employee involved in the "Lunar module hypergolics loading team Grumman Aerospace". It is printed on parchment paper with official NASA seal and is dated and signed by NASA administrator 1972.
